Waktu menceritakan kisah menyeramkan ini kepada aku dan arwah ayah, muka Abang Samad berpeluh-peluh. Tangannya masih menggigil sampaikan kami boleh melihat garfu yang dia gunakan untuk mencucuk cebisan roti canai bergoyang-goyang waktu dia bawa garfu itu ke mulut.<br/>Abang Samad cerita, inilah malam pertama dia bekerja sebagai pengawal keselamatan di sebuah stesen minyak dan malam ini jugalah akan menjadi malam terakhir dia melakukan pekerjaan tersebut. Kesannya terlalu mendalam walaupun Abang Samad bukanlah seorang lelaki yang penakut.<br/>Untuk pengetahuan semua, stesen minyak itu masih berdiri teguh hingga ke hari ini. Malah, persekitarannya juga tidak banyak berubah berbanding 30 tahun yang lepas.
